Inaugural ASF Pro-Am Golf Tournament

The ASF 2005 Pro-Am Golf Tournament was created to be an annual event, held in conjunction with the American Securitization Forum conferences in January. Companies and their clients compete in a serious golf event for a perpetual trophy. This year, 15 teams of 5 players (four amateurs plus a well-known PGA, LPGA or Champions Tour Professional) vied for exciting prizes. The tournament was held this year at the TPC Stadium Course, the same course the FBR Open was played on the following week!

The TPC Stadium Course
Pro-Am Schedule for this year was as follows:
  • 8 am: Lavish Brunch with golf pros, hosted by Mark Lye (Golf Channel) and Charlie Rymer (ESPN)
  • 10 am: Golf with the pros! Tee Off
  • 3 pm—6 pm: Special Cocktail Reception and high-caliber prizes following the tournament

And the Winners of This Year's Tournament Are:

  • Second Place went to the SRI team, playing with Charlie Rymer
  • Third Place went to Chip Beck's team from Harris Nesbitt

A four-time All-American at Stanford and member of the 2000 U.S. Curtis Cup and World Amateur Teams, Louden is in her fourth year on the LPGA.
Hilary Lunke Hilary Lunke
Winner of the 2003 U.S. Women's Open, Lunke embarks on her fourth year on the LPGA.
Mark Lye
One-time PGA TOUR winner and member of the Champions TOUR, Lye begins his eleventh year as The Golf Channel's lead analyst.
Peter Oosterhuis
This four-time European Tour Order of Merit winner has played on six Ryder Cup teams. He currently announces for CBS and The Golf Channel.
Charlie Rymer Charlie Rymer
Best known for his commentating on ESPN, Rymer played on both the Nationwide and PGA TOURS.
